We were delighted to be invited to Holyrood Secondary School’s YPI Charity Fayre, where we had the opportunity to meet hundreds of enthusiastic S3 students and share more about Amma’s work.

The Young Philanthropists Initiative (YPI) encourages students to explore charities and community organisations that are making a difference, before choosing a cause to research and support through their projects.

We are delighted to share that Amma has been shortlisted for the Community Impact Award at The Herald and Glasgow Chamber of Commerce Inspiring City Awards 2026. The award celebrates initiatives that have substantially improved quality of life, strengthened community cohesion, and advanced social equity across Glasgow.

Every week, we support women and birthing people through pregnancy, birth, and the immediate postnatal period at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH). We frequently see the dedication of the staff who care for them. We also see what happens when a system is pushed beyond its limits.
