Amma attends Holyrood Secondary School’s YPI Charity Fayre

September 10, 2026

We were delighted to be invited to Holyrood Secondary School’s YPI Charity Fayre, where we had the opportunity to meet hundreds of enthusiastic S3 students and share more about Amma’s work.

The Young Philanthropists Initiative (YPI) encourages students to explore charities and community organisations that are making a difference, before choosing a cause to research and support through their projects. With £3,000 in funding available for the winning charity, the students have an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in their communities.

Alongside around 20 other charities, we spent the morning chatting with students, answering questions and sharing the work that Amma does to support families and communities.

As part of our stall, we were also proud to showcase a wonderful animation created by a group of students who previously chose Amma as their charity for YPI. It was fantastic to see their creativity and enthusiasm, and a lovely reminder of the impact these projects can have beyond the classroom.

We’re excited to have the opportunity to work with some of the students over the next few months as they develop their projects and learn more about the causes they have chosen to support.
