Run Miles for Mamas at the Kelpies Supernova Run

This Mother’s Day weekend, join Team Amma as we run #MilesForMamas around the Kelpies

If you can’t take part but you’d still like to support Amma at the Supernova Run, you can click here to sponsor our Chair, Sarah-Jane Linton, and her fellow Trustee, Jamie Kinlochan, who’ll be running on the 17th March.

What is the Supernova Run?

The Supernova Run is a stunning 5k route around the Kelpies in Falkirk Helix Park. Runners will make their way around the Kelpies, and be immersed in an enchanting journey of light and sound.

Participants will be given glow sticks and headlamps to light up the route.

When and where is it?

You can choose to run on either March 17 or 18, 2023. Both events start at 8:00 pm.

The run takes place at The Helix (Home of The Kelpies), Falkirk, Grangemouth FK2 7ZT.

Who can take part?

This accessible event is suitable for the entire family. Kids under 16 must be supervised. Participants are welcome to walk, run, scoot, or roll — the focus is on having fun, not how quickly you complete the course!

What is the minimum fundraising requirement?

We have a limited number of free charity places, but we ask that you pledge to raise a minimum of £100 to support Amma’s work.

If you have purchased a place in the Supernova already, you can still join Team Amma by selecting the ‘tell a charity I have my own entry’ link in your MyDetails account. In this case, there’s no minimum fundraising pledge — just raise as much as you can.

How do you sign up?

Register here to join Team Amma. We will be in touch with more information about the event once you’ve signed up.
