Mama Stitch’ is a visual celebration of textile art created by refugee mothers from Amma Birth Companions. Join us for the culmination of a six-week project focused on exploring textile crafts, handiwork and storytelling, as we unveil a collaborative piece of work stitching together participants’ shared experiences. This is an interactive session with family-friendly art activities available to try.

This event has been co-facilitated as part of a research project by Dr Lucy Lowe,  Senior Lecturer in Medical Anthropology at Edinburgh University.
